CT guided injections

• CT Guided injections are performed as an out-patient by a specialist radiologist (a doctor).
• Expect to be at the hospital for 1-2 hours
• You should be accompanied and should not drive home afterwards
• You will be in a CT scanner. This is a small doughnut and should not cause claustrophobia
• You will be awake for the procedure.
• Local anaesthetic will be used
